The RFLX ADVANCE is a technological marvel. Similar power to the RFLX EDGE, but with all the bells and whistles.

One of those bells is a 480 MHz Cortex-M7 STM32H7 processor. That’s serious processing power for real-time control. And with 2 MB Flash and 1 MB RAM, memory constraints are a thing of the past.

The ADVANCE is a 10 kW-class motor controller, covering a power range that many of our customers are looking for. With 450 A peak and 200 A continuous current, it is a powerful fit for electric scooters, light motorcycles, outboard motors, winches and other electrically driven equipment.

It comes with all the essential inputs and interfaces you need, including CAN, analog, PWM and motor sensors. But we didn’t stop there. The ADVANCE also features a powerful built-in DC-DC converter, strong enough to power your vehicle lights, horn or even charge your phone, paired with plenty of useful I/O and switchable outputs.

Small footprint, serious power, all the bells and whistles, and more.

The Advance is part of the RFLX (pronounced Reflex) controller family, here to set a new standard in motor control. You have to try it yourself to see how simple the setup can be and how it feels when razor-sharp precision pairs up with uncompromised performance. No legacy clutter, FOC at its best and for you.

You know that feeling when technical issues are in your way and progress stalls? We started with the vision of creating a product that is simple to use, outperforms the existing solutions, and can be trusted when it matters. The controller you would choose if you want to build the best version of your product.

Why the RFLX Controller Line Makes a Difference to Your Project

Dynamesys hardware was developed from the ground up alongside a new firmware and software stack. Built on decades of combined motor-control expertise, the Dynamesys Firmware and Workbench delivers a new generation of high-performance motor control — powerful, precise, and remarkably simple to use.

The result: a clutter-free, razor-sharp tool that is intuitive to use while offering advanced data-analysis capabilities.

A key focus was making motor detection and setup as straightforward as possible, delivering high accuracy and repeatability, every time.

Many of our customers have been able to eliminate motor sensors altogether, making controller installation and replacement a true plug-and-play experience.

Protection

The RFLX controller actively monitors and protects against:

  • Overvoltage
  • Low input voltage
  • Motor overcurrent
  • Battery overcurrent
  • Overtemperature for motor and motor controller
  • RPM/Speed limiter

Compatibility

  • Intercommunication over CAN with other systems
  • Interoperability with VESC®* based devices via VESC® CAN

Over CAN, controllers recognise each other automatically. Set up an entire bus from a single

connection — firmware updates included. CANopen, DroneCAN and VESC® (command & status) come

out of the box. Need another protocol, or your own? We’ll implement it.

Orders outside the UK and EU: Delivered at Place (DAP)
We ship international orders DAP (Delivered at Place). We arrange and pay for transport to your door, and the courier charge is shown at checkout. Import duties, import taxes and customs clearance charges are paid by the receiver and are not included in our prices. The courier will contact you for payment before or on delivery.

What you can expect to pay

Charge Who charges it Typical amount
Shipping Dynamesys, at checkout Shown at checkout, based on weight and destination
Import VAT / GST Your country’s customs authority Your local rate, e.g. 25% in Norway, 8.1% in Switzerland, 10% GST in Australia. Usually calculated on the goods value plus shipping plus any duty
Import duty Your country’s customs authority Depends on the product’s tariff code and your country, often 0–5% for electronic control equipment. Goods of UK origin may qualify for reduced or 0% duty where the UK has a trade agreement with your country
Courier customs fee (also called disbursement, brokerage or advancement fee) The courier, for paying the duty and tax on your behalf Usually a fixed fee of about £10–£25, or a small percentage of the duty and tax, whichever is higher
Local or extra charges The courier or customs Only if a shipment is held, for example storage charges if payment or paperwork is delayed

VAT-registered businesses can usually reclaim import VAT through their normal VAT return. Duty and courier fees are usually not reclaimable.

What we need from you

To clear customs without delay, please provide the following when you order. You can add it to the order notes or email it to info@dynamesys.com.

  • Your VAT or tax number
  • Your importer ID, for example an EORI number, a US EIN or importer number, Swiss UID, Norwegian organisation number or Canadian business number
  • Your full company name and delivery address, matching your tax registration
  • A contact name, phone number and email address for the courier, who will contact you about duties and delivery

What we provide

Every international shipment includes a commercial invoice showing:

  • a full product description and tariff (HS) code
  • country of origin
  • the goods value and shipping cost
  • our EORI and VAT details

This gives your customs broker everything they normally need.

Good to know

  • Pay the courier promptly when they contact you. Shipments are held until duties are paid, and storage charges may apply.
  • Refused shipments. If a shipment is refused or not collected, return shipping and any charges incurred will be deducted from any refund.
  • Charges can change. Customs rules and tariffs change. Your local customs authority or courier can give you an exact figure for your country before you order.
